Leaders, bodies, responsibilities in higher education institutions

The book is based on the author's practical experience as a university senior manager and as a member of national bodies and expert groups overseeing the management of the domestic higher education sector, as well as on his many years of research. As well as the research, the work to be published fills a gap in both Hungarian science and education. Domestic legal research deals only with a narrow range of subjects in the field of higher education law, and these also focus predominantly on the issue of autonomy, and only two comprehensive studies have been carried out in the last decade: on the topic of autonomy and on the topic of maintenance licenses. Thus, for the first time after a long period, a scientific monograph dealing with the substantive law of higher education is published, which, although it does not cover the entire legal regulation, examines the current legal environment in a broad manner. The volume can be a useful read not only for those interested in the operation of higher education, but also for those working in higher education and students, and can also serve as a starting point for further research in law, management, education or even psychology. In addition, it can be used as a teaching material in both legal training and university courses dealing with the operation and management of (educational) organizations.
