Correspondence between Pál Esterházy and Orsolya Esterházy

Pál Esterházy (1635-1713) was a prince, military leader, Palatine of Hungary, poet and composer. This richly illustrated volume - through his correspondence with his first wife (and niece), Orsolya Esterházy - provides an insight into the private and family life of a noble couple that has so far only been available to researchers of the era and the Esterházy family history. In addition to the more than 360 letters, the compilers of the volume also publish numerous other family documents - property inventories, marriage contracts.
